Thank You
We have Received Your Information
My name is Craig Candelore and I'm the founder and managing attorney of the Veteran's Legal Center. I appreciate that you are considering our firm's representation before the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) for your compensation claim. As a retired US Army Colonel, West Point graduate, and practicing attorney providing legal help to clients who need assistance in the areas of veterans and family law for close to 30 years, I understand the frustration that can result from dealing with the VA to secure the benefits you are entitled to due to your honorable service.
As a general value, I believe in honoring our service members for the sacrifices they have made in service to their country. If you've spent even a single day in a US Military uniform, you are part of a small group of about 7% of the US population who has answered their country's call. I believe every veteran deserves access to their full entitlements from the VA.
My client's receive the following services from my team at the Veteran's Legal Center:
- Free claim representation on original VA claims (first VA claim for disability benefits)
- Free claim representation on initial VA claims (i.e. a new condition, secondary conditions, aggravation of pre-existing conditions, increased evaluation, Individual Unemployability)
- If you have ever been denied service connection for any reason, we will represent you in your appeal for the claimed benefit. This is the only time there will be a fee for our services, a fixed 20% of any retroactive compensation benefits you receive from the VA when we win your appeal. If we do not win your appeal, you pay nothing! Best of all, the VA pays our firm directly, deducting the attorney fee from your award.
I understand there are many people out there today charging for advice or services from veterans regarding VA claims, however you need to be cautious. Many of those individuals or organizations are not VA accredited and are violating the law. You should always check the VA's Office of General Counsel website to ensure your representative is accredited.
I wish you the best in your pursuit of your benefits.
